Jordan Lindsay Hickmott (born April 11, 1990 in Mission , British Columbia ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC 05 Banská Bystrica from the Slovakian Extraliga since May 2019 .

Career

Jordan Hickmott played for the Fraser Valley Bruins in the British Columbia Major Midget League and was pulled 18th in the 2005 Bantam Draft of the Western Hockey League by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the first round, with which he won the 2007 WHL championship . For the Tigers he came to 92 missions with ten goals and six assists, before he was handed over to the Prince Albert Raiders in 2008 , which in return gave the Tigers two picking rights for the CHL Import Draft . With the Raiders he got 71 points in 145 missions. 2010/11 he ran on as assistant captain for the Edmonton Oil Kings and scored 71 points in 76 games.

From 2011 to 2016 he was active for the Alberta Golden Bears in the national university organization CIS and won the championship with his team in 2014 and 2015, and he was also among the top 10 of his team's all-time points list. With Team Canada he took part in the Winter Universiade in Spain in 2015 and won bronze. In 2016 he played three games with a goal and an assist for Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League due to a tryout contract .

In July 2016 he signed a professional contract with HC 05 Banská Bystrica from the Slovakian Extraliga , then was one of the five strongest scorers in the league and was able to celebrate winning the championship at the end of the season. In May 2017, Hickmott signed a contract with the EC VSV from the multinational Erste Bank Ice Hockey League . A year later, in April 2018, he moved within the league to EHC Linz . In February 2019 he left the EHC and played with the Tölzer Löwen in DEL2 until the end of the season before returning to HC 05 Banská Bystrica in summer 2019.
