Jordan Tschutschuganow (born February 25, 1996 ) is a Bulgarian cross-country skier .

Career

Tschuchuganow started in Bansko in January 2011 for the first time in the Balkan Cup and took third place over 15 km classic. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Otepää he achieved the 84th place in the sprint and 19th place with the relay and at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Erzurum the 77th place in the sprint, the 72nd place over 10 km classic and the 18th place with the season. In the 2012/13 season he came 72nd place in the sprint at the 2013 Junior World Championships in Liberec , 55th place over 10 km freestyle and 19th place with the relay and at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2013 in Predeal on the 50th place in the sprint, on the 26th place over 10 km freestyle and on the 19th place over 7.5 km classic. In the following year he won the 75th place in the skiathlon and the 74th place over 10 km classic at the Junior World Championships in Fiemme Valley . He completed his first World Cup races in November 2014 in Ruka , which he finished classically in 84th place in the sprint and 92nd place over 15 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun he ran on 76th place in the sprint and on 21st place together with Stanimir Belomazhev in the team sprint and at the Junior World Championships in 2016 in Râșnov on 50th place over 10 km classic, on 49th place over 15 km freestyle and 19th place with the relay. In the 2016/17 season he came 61st place in the pursuit at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty , 31st place in the sprint and 24th place over 10 km classic and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti to 99th place in the sprint and 73rd place over 15 km classic. In the following season he reached third place in the overall ranking of the Balkan Cup with four podium finishes. He achieved three second places and in Ravna Gora over 10 km classic his first victory in the Balkan Cup. At the end of January 2018, he achieved 42nd place over 15 km classic at the U23 World Championships in Goms . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished 95th in the 15 km freestyle, 68th in the sprint and 23rd place together with Wesselin Zinsow in the team sprint.
