Jorge Navarro
Jorge Navarro Sánchez (born February 3, 1996 in Puebla de Vallbona ) is a Spanish motorcycle racer .
He has been competing in the motorcycle world championship since 2012 .
Career
Moto3 class
Jorge Navarro won his first race in the motorcycle world championship as wildcard -Fahrer the Grand Prix of Aragon in the year 2012 in the Moto3 class. After two more wildcard appearances in 2013 , he was signed by the Marc VDS Racing Team in 2014 to replace Livio Loi . Navarro contested his first full season in 2015 with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team in the Moto3 class on Honda . He was also able to celebrate his first podium at the Grand Prix of Aragon this season and finished the season in seventh overall. In 2016 he started for the same team and celebrated his first victory at the Grand Prix of Catalonia . After another victory in Aragon and a total of five podium places, he reached third place in the overall standings behind Brad Binder and Enea Bastianini , although he had collected fewer points than last year.
Moto2 class
For the 2017 season he moved to Fausto Gresini's Gresini team in the Moto2 class, where he replaced Sam Lowes .
