José Francisco González González (born March 17, 1966 in Yahualica ) is Bishop of Campeche .

Life

The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Juan Cardinal Sandoval Íñiguez , ordained him a priest on June 4, 1995 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 14, 2008 auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara and titular bishop of Feradi Maius . The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Cardinal Juan Sandoval Íñiguez, ordained him episcopal on April 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Christophe Pierre , Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , José Luis Chávez Botello , Archbishop of Antequera, Oaxaca , Carlos Aguiar Retes , Bishop of Texcoco , and Miguel Romano Gómez , Auxiliary Bishop in Guadalajara.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Campeche on December 13, 2013 . The inauguration took place on February 12 of the following year.
