José Leopoldo González González
José Leopoldo González González (born February 7, 1955 in Cañadas de Obregón , Jalisco , Mexico ) is Bishop of Nogales .
Life
José Leopoldo González González received on 27 May 1984 by the current Archbishop of Guadalajara, Cardinal Joseph Salazar López , the Sacrament of Holy Orders .
On November 15, 2005 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Thuburnica and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Guadalajara . The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Juan Cardinal Sandoval Íñiguez , donated him episcopal ordination on January 25, 2006 ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Giuseppe Bertello , and the Bishop of León , José Guadalupe Martín Rábago .
On March 19, 2015, Pope Francis appointed him the first Bishop of Nogales. The inauguration took place on May 22nd of the same year.
