José Manuel Jurado Marín [ xo'se ma'nwel xu'ɾaðo ma'ɾin ] (born June 29, 1986 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda ) is a Spanish football player in the service of al-Ahli . His traditional position is the offensive midfield .
career
José Manuel Jurado began at Atlético Sanluqueño CF playing football before with almost 14 years in the youth of Real Madrid came where he until 2003, with only 17 years, the leap to the second team, Real Madrid Castilla managed various ages went through. The tech-savvy offensive midfielder played a major role in the promotion to the Segunda División in the 2004/05 season. With an estimated transfer fee of around 13 million euros, Jurado was just behind Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, the second most expensive transfer in Schalke's club history. He scored his first competitive goal for the Royal Blues in the Champions League in a 3-1 win against Hapoel Tel Aviv . He scored his first Bundesliga goal on matchday 15 in a 2-0 home win against record champions FC Bayern Munich .
On September 3, 2012, after he had not convinced at Schalke 04 , he was loaned to the Russian first division team Spartak Moscow for a year . In June 2013 he was signed by Spartak Moscow.
In July 2015 Jurado moved to the English first division club Watford FC . He made his debut on August 8, 2015, when he started the game in a 2-2 draw against Everton .
On July 5, 2016, it was announced that Jurado was returning to Spain to join Espanyol Barcelona .
National team
José Manuel Jurado was with Spain in 2003 at the side of Cesc Fàbregas U-17 vice world champion . After eight appearances for the Spanish U-18 national team in 2004 and 2005 Jurado belonged to the U-21 team until 2009 , for which he was able to score five goals in 18 games
