José de Jesús Aguilera Rodríguez (born April 19, 1931 , † November 9, 1999 ) was Bishop of Huajuapan de León .

Life

José de Jesús Rodríguez Aguilera received on 9 April 1955, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 11, 1982 Pope John Paul II appointed him bishop of Huajuapan de León. The Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Archbishop Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on August 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of León , Anselmo Zarza Bernal , and the Bishop of San Juan de los Lagos , José López Lara .

On March 8, 1991, John Paul II accepted the resignation put forward by José de Jesús Aguilera Rodríguez due to illness.
