Felipe Padilla Cardona

Felipe Padilla Cardona (born May 1, 1945 in León de los Aldama ) is Bishop of Ciudad Obregón .

Life

Felipe Padilla Cardona was ordained a priest on June 10, 1973 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Huajuapan de León on February 15, 1992 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico , Girolamo Prigione , on March 17th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Rosendo Huesca Pacheco , Archbishop of Puebla de los Ángeles, Puebla , and Anselmo Zarza Bernal , Bishop of León .

On August 26, 1996, the Pope appointed him coadjutor bishop of Tehuantepec . With Arturo Lona Reyes ' retirement , he succeeded him on November 25, 2000 in the office of Bishop of Tehuantepec. He was appointed Bishop of Ciudad Obregón on October 1, 2009 and was introduced to the office on November 4 of the same year.
