Oscar Campos Contreras

Oscar Armando Campos Contreras (born September 18, 1947 in Guadalajara , Mexico ) is a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Ciudad Guzmán .

Life

Oscar Campos Contreras received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Tuxtla Gutiérrez on December 27, 1978 .

On May 23, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Summa and it ordered auxiliary bishop in Antequera . The Archbishop of Antequera, José Luis Chávez Botello , donated him episcopal ordination on July 12 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Acapulco , Felipe Aguirre Franco , and the Bishop of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Rogelio Cabrera López . On February 2, 2010 Benedict XVI appointed him. to the bishop of Tehuantepec . The inauguration took place on March 23 of the same year.

On September 25, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ciudad Guzmán.
