José de Jesús Castillo Rentería
José de Jesús Castillo Rentería MNM (born July 2, 1927 in Mexico City ; † April 23, 2013 ibid) was Bishop of Tuxtepec .
Life
José de Jesús Castillo Rentería joined the religious order of the Misioneros de la Natividad de María and was ordained a priest on June 11, 1950 in the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of León , the Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Luz of León .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tuxtepec on January 8, 1979 . The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico Girolamo Prigione donated him episcopal ordination on April 22, 1979 in Mexico City ; Co- consecrators were Bartolomé Carrasco Briseño , Archbishop of Antequera , and Hilario Chávez Joya MNM, Prelate of Nuevo Casas Grandes .
On February 11, 2005, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
