Josef Kellerer

Josef "Sepp" Kellerer (born August 27, 1946 ) is a German local politician ( CSU ) and former Lord Mayor of Fürstenfeldbruck .

Career

Kellerer is a trained agricultural master and worked as a farmer . At the age of 24 he was elected to the district assembly of the Fürstenfeldbruck district for the first time and was deputy district administrator from 1990 to 1996. In the spring of 1996 he was elected Lord Mayor of the city of Fürstenfeldbruck against the incumbent Eva-Maria Schumacher (SPD). He was confirmed in office in the mayoral elections in 2002 and 2008. In 2014 he could no longer run for election because he had reached the age limit. He is also a member of the district council of the Fürstenfeldbruck district in the 2014–2020 term.
