Josef Lošek

Josef Lošek (born March 4, 1912 ; † unknown) was a Czech cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

In 1933 and 1936 he was the Czech road racing champion, in 1934 he was second in the championship race. Lošek was a participant in the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin . In the individual race won by Robert Charpentier , he was classified as 16th and was the best Czech. The Czech team did not make it into the team classification . At the UCI Road World Championships in 1936 , he finished 19th. In 1937, the longest amateur race in Europe, Prague – Karlovy Vary – Prague, came second behind Otakar Rozvada .
