Josep Ángel Saiz Meneses (born August 2, 1956 in Sisante ) is a Spanish priest and bishop of Terrassa .

Life

The Archbishop of Toledo , Cardinal Marcelo González Martín , ordained him a priest on July 15, 1984 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Barcelona and titular bishop of Selemselae on October 30, 2001 .

The Archbishop of Barcelona , Ricardo María Cardinal Carles Gordó , donated him episcopal ordination on December 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Manuel Monteiro de Castro , Apostolic Nuncio in Spain and Andorra , and Antonio Cañizares Llovera , Archbishop of Toledo .

He was appointed Bishop of Terrassa on June 15, 2004, and was instituted on July 25 of the same year.
