Joseph Ratzinger Prize

The Joseph Ratzinger Prize ( Italian Premio Joseph Ratzinger ) is a prize of the Vatican Foundation Fondazione Vaticana Joseph Ratzinger - Benedetto XVI and has been awarded annually since 2011 for special scientific and theological achievements in the context of contemporary discourse. The prize, endowed with 50,000 euros, is named after the real name Pope em. Benedict XVI. and will be awarded in consultation with the latter. The foundation fund is fed from the proceeds of the works of Joseph Ratzinger as well as from public and private donations.
