action

The film tells the story of two lovers who get caught between the lines of rival street gangs. Rahul, the brother of Prakash, the leader of the Hindu Scorpions, falls in love with Shirley. She is the sister of Max, the leader of the Christian-oriented Eagles.

Not a day ends before an eagle or a scorpion is beaten up. When Rahul comes to Vasco from Bombay to take his family with him, he falls in love with Shirley. He tries to win her heart in various ways and when he actually manages the two are discovered. To be with Shirley, Rahul helps Max. But Prakash learns that Rahul is betraying him and tries to kill Max. However, the attack fails and Prakash dies. Max goes to jail and waits for his death sentence until it is discovered that he was acting out of self-defense. Max now has nothing to object to the love of Shirley and Rahul and asks Rahul to stay with them.

background

Josh - My heart belongs to you is Mansoor Khan's fourth directorial work. It is set in 1980 in the Indian state of Goa , which was only able to break away from the colonial power Portugal in 1961. The Christian influence can be seen there to this day, especially in Vasco da Gama .

Reviews

The film was criticized in a review of the online mail order company Amazon , it lacks consistency in the implementation of the gang fights. Furthermore, the story increasingly loses its attractiveness in the second half of the film.
