Joshua "Josh" Paul Dallas (born December 18, 1978 in Louisville , Kentucky ) is an American actor .

life and career

Josh Dallas graduated from New Albany High School in New Albany , Indiana, when he was 15 years old . He had his first role in 2006 in the television series Ultimate Force and has since appeared in films and television series. He had his breakthrough in 2011 with the film Thor by Kenneth Branagh , in which he played the role of Fandral . From October 2011 to May 2017 he was in the ABC- produced fantasy series Once Upon a Time - Once Upon a Time ... as Prince David "Charming" .

During an acting study stay in England in 2003 he met the actress Lara Pulver . After the wedding in 2007, they separated again in 2011. In April 2012 it was announced that Dallas is in a relationship with his Once Upon a Time series partner Ginnifer Goodwin . The two married on April 12, 2014 in Los Angeles. Their sons were born in 2014 and 2016.
