Joshua Jean Victor Nadeau (born September 12, 1994 in Paris ) is a French football player . He has been under contract with the Luxembourg club FC Rodingen 91 in the BGL Ligue since the 2020/21 season .

Career

Nadeau began his career at Corsica- based club AC Ajaccio , where he moved up to the fifth-class second team in the summer of 2012. He became a regular on the right defensive side and showed his potential for possible appearances in the first team. Although he did not receive a professional contract at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, he made his professional debut in the first division on the second day of the game, when he drew 1-1 with reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain on August 18, 2013 at the age of 18 the place. He was substituted in the 69th minute when the score was 1-0 in favor of his team due to injury.

Following his first division debut, he was mainly still a member of the reserve team, but was occasionally also called up in the professional team. His fall into the second division at the end of the season, however, he could not avert. He then decided to move abroad in the summer of 2014 and signed with the Cypriot first division club AEL Limassol . However, he was unable to assert himself with this, which is why the employment relationship ended after a year. In February 2016, after a few months without a club, he signed with the Swedish first division club Gefle IF . Since the seasons in Sweden are based on the calendar year, the commitment was made in the run-up to the 2016 season. In January 2017 Nadeau signed a contract with German third division club Hansa Rostock with a term until June 30, 2019.

He made his debut for Rostock on matchday 20 in the home game against Jahn Regensburg . By the end of the season, his stakes totaled eight. There were also two games in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Cup . Since Hansa won it in the end, Nadeau counts as the 2017 national cup winner. In the following series he made 25 third division appearances for the Hanseatic League. Coach Pavel Dotchev also used him in the DFB Cup against Bundesliga club Hertha BSC (0: 2) and five times in the state cup. Nadeau played the final and won with the cog against FC Mecklenburg Schwerin 2-1. His last appearance for Rostock's professional team was on the 1st matchday of the 2018/19 season in the away game against the newly promoted Cottbus (0: 3). On August 27, 2018, FC Hansa announced that it had terminated the contract with Nadeau. A day later, the move to the Belgian third division club Royal Excelsior Virton became known. Here he only played seven games until the winter break and was then sent to the reserve team. After the end of the season, he then joined the fourth division AC Boulogne-Billancourt in France for a year . On May 28, 2020, the Luxembourg first division club FC Rodingen 91 announced the commitment of the defender for the new season.
