Juckreiz is a German music group based on the Neue Deutsche Welle , mixed with some reggae sequences. The band was founded in Magdeburg in 1980 .
Band history
The band was founded by:
- Marion Sprawe - vocals , triola , percussion
- Jürgen Rohmeis - vocals, keyboard
- Friedhelm Ruschak - bass , vocals
- Jürgen "Ali" Albrecht - guitar
In 1984 came:
- Peter Piele - drums (previously with Gruppe Elefant )
- Viola Woigt - vocals, keyboard
For a short time also played in the band:
- Sybille Strauss
- Anett Navall
The band's first appearance was on April 27, 1982 in the Magdeburg Flora Club. At the hit festival "Goldener Rathausmann" in Dresden in 1983 she became a crowd favorite and came in second. In 1985 Sprawe went to Smokings rock show . In 1988 the band toured the Soviet Union . With their socially critical titles Marionetten , Berlin, you are going to be way too expensive for us , stamp song and news anchor they were close to being banned from appearing .
The band's composer was Ruschak; the texts came from Sprawe and Ruschak.
Since 1993 the band has been touring with Peter Schilling , Markus , Joachim Witt , Miss Menke , UKW and Geier Sturzflug at various NDW parties.
