Julia Jones (born January 23, 1981 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American actress .

Life

She attended ballet school as a young child and made her first appearances in commercials when she was eight. She modeled for Levi's , Gap , Esprit and L'Oréal .

In 2010, she landed the role of Twilight -Figur Leah Clearwater . In Eclipse - Till the sunset and Breaking Dawn - Till the end of the night - Part 1 she plays the gray, moody werewolf or the sister of Seth Clearwater (played by Booboo Stewart ).

Jones is of Native American descent and is part Chickasaw and part Choctaw . For her role as Sammi in the Indian drama Black Cloud , she received the FAITA (First Americans In The Art) Award for Best Actress in 2004.

Jones was dating actor Josh Radnor from 2012 to 2013 .
