Julie Ordon (born June 27, 1984 in Geneva ) is a Swiss model and actress .

Life

Ordon is the youngest of four sisters. After winning a modeling competition, she moved to Paris in 1999 and signed a modeling contract with the now-defunct Madison Models Agency.

She gave birth to her first child on August 9, 2009 in Geneva. The father is her life partner David Mimran, a Swiss-French businessman.

Model career

She modeled for Guess , Bebe , Ralph Lauren , L'Oréal and the Victoria's Secret catalog. Her face became better known when she was booked for the Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick commercial, in which she embodies the young Brigitte Bardot . Ordon appeared on the magazine cover of ELLE and in the French edition of Playboy . In October 2009 she appeared pregnant on the cover of the 30th anniversary issue of German Vogue . In 2010 she made a debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue .

Acting career

Ordon made her acting debut in 2002 with the Cédric Anger film Novela . A year later she played one of the protagonists in the film Inquiétudes (also known as A Sight for Sore Eyes ), in which Gilles Bourdos directed and wrote the screenplay. This was followed by a role in the independent film Point & Shoot in 2004 and a brief appearance in Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig in 2008 .
