Julio César Salcedo Aquino MJ (born April 12, 1951 in Mexico City , Mexico ) is a Mexican religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Tlaxcala .

Life

Julio César Salcedo Aquino joined the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Joseph at and received on 17 July 1976, the sacrament of Holy Orders . From 2009 to 2015 Salcedo Aquino was Superior General of the Missionaries of Saint Joseph.

On June 15, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Tlaxcala. He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, Archbishop Franco Coppola , on August 30 of the same year in Tlaxcala. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Puebla de los Ángeles , Victor Sánchez Espinosa , and the Bishop of Ciudad Valles , Roberto Octavio Balmori Cinta MJ.
