Roberto Octavio Balmori Cinta MJ (born November 20, 1943 in Coatzacoalcos ) is a Mexican religious and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Ciudad Valles .

Life

Roberto Octavio Balmori Cinta joined the Order of Missionaries of Saint Joseph and was ordained a priest on May 17, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ciudad Valles on April 5, 2002. The Archbishop of Monterrey , Adolfo Antonio Cardinal Suárez Rivera , ordained him episcopal on June 5 of the same year ; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Giuseppe Bertello , Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico, and Hermenegildo Ramírez Sánchez MJ, Prelate of Huautla .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on March 19, 2020.
