Julio Manrique
Julio Manrique Vicuña (* 1973 in Barcelona ) is a Catalan actor and director .
Life
Manrique first studied law at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and took theater courses at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
From 2011 to the end of 2013, he succeeded Calixto Bieito as director of the Teatro Romea de Barcelona , his successor there being Borja Sitjà .
Awards
For his Hamlet , directed by Oriol Broggi i Rull , he was awarded the Premio de la Crítica de Barcelona for best actor in 2008/2009 .
