Julio Ojeda Pascual

Julio Ojeda Pascual OFM (born April 12, 1932 in Monasterio de Rodilla near Burgos, Spain; † April 28, 2013 in Lima , Peru) was Vicar Apostolic of San Ramón .

Life

Julio Ojeda Pascual joined the order of the Franciscans , made his profession on October 14, 1953 and was ordained priest on January 6, 1957 by Archbishop John Landázuri in the Ocopa monastery . After his Franciscan studies he became a missionary in Peru and attended the Colegio Seráfico in Anguciana and the Colegio Seráfico in Callao.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on March 30, 1987 Vicar Apostolic of San Ramón and Titular Bishop of Fissiana . He received his episcopal ordination from the Archbishop of Lima , Juan Cardinal Landázuri Ricketts, OFM, on July 5, 1987 in the Cathedral of San Ramon; Co-consecrators were Victor de la Peña Pérez OFM, Auxiliary Bishop in Requena , and Lorenzo Rodolfo Guibord Lévesque OFM, Vicar Apostolic of San José de Amazonas .

On March 11, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his health-related resignation.
