Julius Pilaski

Friedrich Wilhelm Julius Pilaski , Polish: Fryderyk Wilhelm Juliusz Pilaski, (born February 3, 1803 in Posen , † March 27, 1883 ibid) was the owner of the manor and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Pilaski was the owner of the manor in Zielice near Wreschen and a district judge. After studying law in Berlin, he was at the regional court in Poznan from 1831 to 1861. In 1861 he left the civil service as a district judge to devote himself to the administration of his property and other real estate holdings.

He belonged to the First Prussian Chamber from 1849 to 1853, the II. Prussian Chamber from 1853 to 1855. He was a long-time member of the Prussian House of Representatives , of which he was from 1859 to 1882. From 1867 to 1871 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament for the constituency of Posen 10 ( Adelnau , Schildberg ) and the Polish parliamentary group . From 1867 to 1871 he was parliamentary group leader of the Polish Party in the Reichstag.
