Julius Rudolf of the East

Julius Rudolf von der Osten (born March 14, 1801 in Königsberg in the Neumark , † November 30, 1861 in Schönow , Pyritz district ) was a German district administrator and manor owner.

Life

He came from the Pomeranian noble family von der Osten . He studied at the universities of Berlin and Heidelberg law . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Marchia Berlin in 1820 , and in 1821 he joined the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he bought the Schönow manor in the Pyritz district in the province of Pomerania in 1835 .

From 1851 to 1857 he was district administrator of the Pyritz district. In 1856 he was elected by the knighthood of the Pyritz district as a deputy member of the 13th Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania , and then in 1861 as District Administrator a. D. as a member of the 14th Provincial Parliament.
