Ludwig Imbert du Rosey

Ludwig Imbert du Rosey (* 1697 ; † April 19, 1757 in Hasselbusch , Pyritz district ) was a Prussian district administrator .

Ludwig Imbert du Rosey was a son of Imbert Rollaz du Rosey (* 1657, † 1704), who, born in Switzerland, rose in Prussian military service to major general, and his wife Dorothee Charlotte von Meinders. Louis Imbert du Rosey entered first into the Prussian army, where he to the captain ( captain was promoted). In 1740 he acquired the Hasselbusch estate in the Pyritz district in Western Pomerania .

Around 1745 he became district administrator of the Pyritz district, later he was also director of the district. He held these offices until around 1750.

Ludwig Imbert du Rosey married Jacobine Louise von Dewitz (* 1712) in 1729 . The marriage resulted in two sons and two daughters. His daughter Johanna Louise married David Vincenz von Braunschweig , who replaced his father-in-law in the office of district administrator of the Pyritz district around 1750.
