The filming location is the command post of the old Soviet submarine U-434 of the type Projekt 641B Som in the port of Hamburg. Abdollahi receives one guest at a time for conversation. In keeping with the name of the talk show, the presenter is dressed in a fantasy uniform of a Soviet submarine commander. There are no candles, no tablecloth, no silverware like at the captain's dinner on a cruise ship , but only a small on-board snack in a spartan atmosphere, which often consists of tea, rollmops and liver sausage slices.
There is no studio audience. The broadcast takes about 30 minutes. Part of the program is that at the beginning the walk of the talk guest through the narrow corridors of the submarine is shown, with the moderator and guest shouting their first words. In the passage with particularly short questions and answers, Abdollahi switches to red light.
