Pond

The Kästleinsweiher is located in the area of ​​the town of Gunzenhausen in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

The approximately one  hectare large pond located on the edge of the splitter hill country in the Franconian Lake District not far southeast of Büchelberg , northeast of Laubenzedel and northwest of whistles mill in Altmühltal at an altitude of 421 meters above  mean sea level . The municipal boundary to Haundorf runs not far . The pond is traversed by the stone ditch. The Kästleinsweiher does not belong to the pond chain of the still waters Eichenberger Weiher , Branderweiher , Speckweiher and Schnackenweiher not far to the northeast .
