Kévork Assadourian

Kévork Assadourian ICPB (born April 29, 1961 in Qamishli , al-Hasakah Governorate , Syria ) is a Syrian clergyman and Armenian Catholic auxiliary bishop in Beirut .

Life

Kevork Assadourian joined the du Clergé Patriarcal de Bzommar Institute at and received on 3 October 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

The Synod of the Armenian Catholic Bishops , which met in Rome , elected Kévork Assadourian as the Armenian Catholic Auxiliary Bishop in Beirut. On September 5, 2015, Pope Francis approved his election as Armenian Catholic Auxiliary Bishop in Beirut and appointed him Titular Bishop of Amida degli Armeni . He was ordained bishop by the Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church , Grégoire Bedros XX. Ghabroyan ICPB, on November 21 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Coadjutor Emeritus of Istanbul , Kévork Khazoumian ICPB, the Emeritus Ordinarius of Eastern Europe , Nechan Karakéhéyan ICPB, the Bishop of Sainte-Croix-de-Paris , Jean Teyrouz ICPB, and the Bishop of Our Lady of Nareg in New York , Mikaël Antoine Mouradian .
