from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of the Patriarchs of Cilicia of the Armenians , head of the Armenian Catholic Church . It was (re) built in 1741. Difficult negotiations in 1701, 1703 and 1714 between Catholic and Apostolic clergy did not come to a conclusion, so that the Armenian Catholics of Aleppo took action and in 1741 the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate was (re) established. The naming is made up of the family name and the suffix "Bedros" and the following number (e.g. "Abraham Ardzivian" (civil name) and "Abraham Bedros I. Ardzivian" (patriarch name)).
