The Kühalpenbach (formerly: Kohlbach ) is a creek about 5 km long in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district in Upper Bavaria .

course

The Kühalpenbach arises in trenches on the east side of the Kienjoch in the community-free area of Ettaler Forst . It runs north and takes in other streams. Passing the Kuhalmhütte, he reaches the support service hut southeast of Dinkelschwaig . There the water of the Kühalpenbach seeps away completely into the ground. The surface water crosses the boundary to the municipality of Ettal and flows into the Linder from the right between Graswang and the Ettaler Mühle near the Große Ammerquellen .

The mouth of the Kühalpenbach was relocated to the east in the 1930s as part of the straightening of the Linder.
