Kevin Christopher Martel (born September 14, 1967 in Ottawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Martel had his first television role in an episode of the superhero series Wonder Woman in 1977. In the same year, he starred in the short-lived NBC - sitcom Mulligan's Stew , but only by the pilot and six episodes were filmed. His feature film debut took place in 1979 in the horror film Amityville Horror ; he played Greg, one of the two sons of the Lutz family, who move into a haunted house. From 1979 to 1980 he had the recurring guest role of Marvin in the series Einht is enough . In the television film The Return of the Frankenstein Family , based on the series The Munsters , he portrayed the original actors Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo, their son, the werewolf Eddie .

Martel played his best-known role in Steven Spielberg's science fiction film E.T. - The alien . Here he was seen as Greg, one of the friends of leading actor Robert MacNaughton . His last feature film role was alongside Kevin Bacon and Sean Astin in the adventure film Whitewater Summer - In the Moment of Peril . Between 1985 and 1992 he was Eddie in 19 episodes of the sitcom Our Loud Home . Then he retired from the acting business.
