The Kabardin Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (short Kabardian ASSR , Russian Кабардинская Автономная Советская Социалистическая Республика or Кабардинская АССР, Kabardian Къэбэрдей АССР) was the name of the Kabardino-Balkar ASSR after the deportation of the Balkars in the Second World War, when only Kabardiner remained.
