Ansip III cabinet
The third government of the Republic of Estonia under Prime Minister Andrus Ansip ("Ansip III Cabinet") was appointed on April 5, 2011 by President Toomas Hendrik Ilves . According to official counts, it was the 46th government of the Republic of Estonia. Her term ended on March 26, 2014; at the same time Ansip resigned as Prime Minister.

In the Estonian parliamentary elections on March 6, 2011, the previous government alliance of the liberal Estonian Reform Party ( Reformierakond ) and the conservative Isamaa ja Res Publica Liit (IRL) was confirmed.
The coalition had a stable majority in the Estonian parliament ( Riigikogu ) with 56 out of 101 seats . The Reform Party had 33 MPs (plus 2), its junior partner, the IRL, had 23 MPs (plus 4).
Prime Minister Andrus Ansip (reform party) , who has ruled since 2005, remained . Each of the two coalition parties had six ministers in its cabinet, which initially consisted of twelve men and one woman, later of eleven men and two women.

In March 2014, the government coalition was dissolved. On March 26, 2014, President Ilves appointed a new coalition government made up of the Liberal Reform Party and the Social Democratic Party . The previous Minister of Social Affairs Taavi Rõivas (Reform Party) became the new head of government .
The new cabinet saw itself as a transitional government until the next regular parliamentary elections in March 2015.
