Birk cabinet
Government of the Republic of Estonia under Prime Minister Ado Birk (Birk Cabinet). Term of office: July 28, 1920 to July 30, 1920.
government
The government of Birk I was officially the 6th government of the Republic of Estonia since independence was declared in 1918.
The coalition government, which also included non-party experts, was composed
- Eesti Rahvaerakond (Estonian People's Party, ER)
- Eesti Tööerakond (Estonian Labor Party, ETE)
- Kristlik Rahvaerakond (Christian People's Party, KRE)
The cabinet stayed in office for only three days. It was the shortest-lived government in the history of the Republic of Estonia. The disputes within the constituent assembly ( Asutav Kogu ) over the formation of a government could not be overcome for Birk either. He therefore gave the task of forming a government back to Jaan Tõnisson , who presented a new cabinet on July 30, 1920 .
