The government of Pät was officially the 23rd government of the Republic of Estonia since independence was declared in 1918. It remained in office for 199 days.

The three-party coalition belonged to:

  • the United Farmers 'Party ( Ühinenud Põllumeeste Erakond , ÜPE), which was formed in early 1932 as an amalgamation of the “Association of Farmers” ( Põllumeeste Kogud , PK) and the Settlers ' Union ( Põllumeeste, Asunikkude ja Väikemaapidajate Koondis );

In April 1933, the National Center Party withdrew its ministers from government because of disagreements over economic policy. Jaan Tõnisson formed a new government on May 18 .

At the same time, the United Farmers' Party ( Ühinenud Põllumeeste Erakond ) split again; the unification project of the party leaders had only lasted a year.
