Ramaphosa I cabinet

The Ramaphosa cabinet was presented on February 26, 2018 by Cyril Ramaphosa , who was sworn in as President of the Republic of South Africa on February 15, 2018 . The cabinet was sworn in on February 27, 2018. Ramaphosa's vice president became David Mabuza .

Cabinet reshuffles

  • Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene resigned on October 9, 2018. He was replaced on the same day by Tito Mboweni (ANC), former Minister of Labor in the Mandela Cabinet and Governor of the Reserve Bank .
  • Interior Minister Malusi Gigaba resigned on November 13, 2018 . On the same day, Transport Minister Blade Nzimande took over this post temporarily.
  • On November 22, 2018, Siyabonga Cwele became the new interior minister; Nomvula Mokonyane took over the vacant Ministry of the Environment.
  • On the same day, the Ministry of Telecommunications and Postal Services merged with the Ministry of Communications to form the Ministry of Communications, Telecommunications and Postal Services; Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams became minister .
