Salmond II cabinet
The Salmond II cabinet formed the government of Scotland from May 18, 2011 to November 19, 2014 under First Minister Alex Salmond .
The government is a sole government of the Scottish National Party , which won an absolute majority in the 2011 general election . The distribution of ministries was announced on May 19, 2011 by Alex Salmond.
