Kai Luehrs-Kaiser

Kai Luehrs-Kaiser (born July 27, 1961 in Bremen ) is a German journalist . He works as an author , music and theater critic and as a publicist .

biography

Luehrs-Kaiser studied philosophy , German , music and religious studies at the Free University of Berlin . He was born in 1999 with the work Becoming the Past; Explanations and interpretations of memory as a narrative problem with Robert Musil , Heimito von Doderer and Hans Henny Jahnn doctorate.

Luehrs-Kaiser was co-founder and from 1995 to 2008 chairman of the Heimito von Doderer Society . He has published numerous articles, particularly on 20th century Austrian literature, and works as a producer and director of audio books and as a freelance music and theater critic , especially for the daily newspaper Die Welt , Spiegel Online , the Swiss Sunday newspaper , the specialist journals FonoForum , Rondo , and Opernwelt and music & theater .

As an author and presenter on the RBB's cultural radio station , he oversees the weekly program Musikstadt Berlin and works as a music and music theater critic.

Luehrs-Kaiser lives in Berlin and Vienna .
