history

After the villages of Mezilesí and Voděrady had died out during the Hussite Wars , their corridors were connected to the Kněžice dominion and later to Dymokury in 1498 .

The owner of the Dymokury estate, Count Camillo von Colloredo- Wallsee (1712–1797), had a village set up east of the Neuhof in 1768, which was named after him as Camillowes / Kamillowes . The regular settlement consisted of two rows of houses on either side of a street green. In 1836 the Angers was planted with linden trees.

After the abolition of patrimonial Kamiloves formed a municipality in the Poděbrady district from 1850 . In 1896 a village school was built on the Anger. At the beginning of 1961, Kamilov was incorporated into Sloveč and at the same time assigned to the Okres Nymburk. In 1991 the place had 65 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 37 houses in which 56 people lived.
