The canton Ebsdorf was an administrative unit in the Marburg district of the Werra department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The seat of the canton administration was the place Ebsdorf in today's district of Marburg-Biedenkopf .
The canton comprised 21 villages and hamlets, had 5,139 residents, and an area of 2.07 square miles .
