Karl Friedrich Favreau

Karl Friedrich Favreau (born June 30, 1821 in Münster ; † June 14, 1869 in Düsseldorf ) was a Prussian administrative officer.

Origin and education

Karl Friedrich Favreau was born in Münster, Westphalia, as the son of a Protestant councilor and soldier . After attending grammar school, he studied law and camera science at the universities in Bonn and Heidelberg .

Career

After completing his studies, Favreau joined the Prussian judicial service in 1844 as an auscultator at the Supreme Court . In 1846 he was appointed court trainee there, but in 1847 he moved to the Düsseldorf government as a government trainee . Further posts were: 1852 Sigmaringen government and 1852 as government assessor again at the Düsseldorf government. There he was also appointed to the government council in 1864 . Favreau, who had been married since 1861, retired in 1867. During his service in Düsseldorf , Favreau was commissioned twice with the administration of a district office, for the Neuss district from May 7, 1849 to January 13, 1850 and for the Elberfeld district from February 12 to July 16, 1859.
