Karl Kircher

Karl Kircher (born June 23, 1874 in Ulm , † August 18, 1939 in Ludwigsburg ) was a Württemberg chief magistrate and district administrator .

Life

Born as the son of a military construction secretary, Kircher studied law in Tübingen after attending high school in Ulm . During his studies he became a member of the Ulmia Tübingen Landsmannschaft in 1892 and of the Roigel Royal Society in Tübingen in 1893 . After his exams in 1896 and 1897, he joined the Württemberg interior administration in 1898 and in 1904 became a bailiff at the Vaihingen Oberamt . In 1911 he became a clerk at the Stuttgart District Office . During the First World War he was employed as a collegiate assistant in the government of the Neckar District in Ludwigsburg . In 1916 he was awarded the title of Chief Government Assessor and in 1917 he was administrative administrator in Tettnang , and in 1918/19 in the Oberamt Besigheim . In 1918 he became a planned assessor with the title of senior administrator in the government of the Jagstkreis in Ellwangen , responsible for the Oberamt Besigheim. In 1919 he became administrative administrator in Kirchheim , then in Backnang followed by Leonberg . At the Oberamt Leonberg in 1920 he was appointed chief magistrate and chief executive officer, and in 1928 district administrator in Geislingen . In 1933 he joined the NSDAP . After he was on sick leave in 1937, he became an official administrator in Marbach in 1938 .
