Karl Reinhold Georg von Lilienfeld (born December 4, 1790 in Neu-Oberpahlen , † December 24, 1875 ) was a Swedish-Baltic nobleman , district administrator and land marshal in Livonia .

Life

Lilienfeld served in the Imperial Russian Army and took part in several campaigns against Napoleon I between 1812 and 1814 as a lieutenant in the guard . In 1816 he was appointed adjunct in order judges in Fellin called and was in 1820 , Circuit Judge . From 1830 to 1844 he was district deputy for the Pernau district and was elected Land Marshal of Livonia in 1844. From 1847 he was district administrator and in 1864 received an honorary chair in the district council . From 1863 to 1875 he was co-owner of Neu-Oberpahlen.

The Neu-Oberpahlen estate ( Estonian  : Uue-Põltsamaa) belonged to the von Lilienfeld family and was founded around 1750. The late Baroque stone main building built between the 1770s and 1780s has been preserved. Today the manor and land belong to the town of Põltsamaa.

Origin and family

Karl Reinhold came from the long-established Swedish-Baltic noble family von Lilienfeld . His grandfather Jakob Heinrich (I) von Lilienfeld (1716–1785) was a Baltic nobleman, Prussian chamberlain , writer and poet . His father was his son Karl Magnus von Lilienfeld (1754–1835), Lord of Neu-Oberpahlen, he was the founder of the I. House of Alp and was his first marriage to Hedwig Charlotte von Krüdener , adH Werder (1759–1839) and in second marriage to Anna Sophie von Sivers (1757–1777). Karl Reinhold was married to Elisabeth Wilhelmine von Berg (1803–1832), heiress to Koenhof, Charlottenthal and Posendorf, from 1824. Her descendants were:

  • Eduard Karl Balthasar von Lilienfeld (1825–1903), parish judge ∞ Wilhelmine Elisabeth Sophie von Berg (* 1829 in Sangaste ; † 1917 in Andorf , Austria )
  • Georg Reinhold Karl von Lilienfeld (1828–1881), lord of the Könhof and Charlottenthal, lord of Neu-Oberpahlen, ∞ Jeanette Guillemot de Villebois (1832–1897)
  • Julie Anna von Lilienfeld (* 1830)
  • Alexander Peter Ernst von Lilienfeld (* 1831 in Neu-Oberpahlen; † 1909 in Wiesbaden ), District Administrator ∞ Sophie Josephine Elisabeth von Mensenkampff (* 1843 in Tarwast; † in Berlin)
