Karl Vielweib (born January 6, 1896 in Munich ; missing July 22, 1944 near Lublin ) was a German politician of the NSDAP in Landshut and SA leader.

Life

Polywife attended secondary school and then worked as a businessman. From 1914 to 1918 Polywife took part in the First World War and was awarded the War Merit Cross, Second Class. In November 1920 he joined the Bavarian Rescue Service . Already in January 1923 he joined the SA and in April 1923 the NSDAP ( membership number 26.906) and thus later wore the golden party badge of the NSDAP . In Landshut he was a participant in the Hitler putsch there , was imprisoned for two days and later became a " blood medalist ". After the NSDAP was banned, he was chairman of the district association of the “Völkischer Block Niederbayern”. From September 1924 he succeeded Gregor Strasser as chairman of the Front Warrior League in Landshut. From 1923 to 1932 he was district leader of the NSDAP . Vielweib was active as a Gau and finally Reich speaker . He was a member of the SS from August 21, 1926 to November 21, 1931. In 1942 , the " old fighter " rose to become Oberführer in the SA .

After the seizure of power by the National Socialists Vielweib was first used provisionally in March 1933 Mayor of Landshut, from 22 February 1935 then mayor after he had already 1930-1933 City Council member. Vielweib ran unsuccessfully as district office leader of the NSDAP in Landshut for the election of the " Greater German Reichstag on April 10, 1938".

During the Second World War was Vielweib on 15 November 1943, operate Richard Wendler's in General City captain of Lublin ; he held this post until his death.
