action

Karlemann is very often in his own Robinson world . Sometimes he is also out and about with his special all-weather boat on the river, which is probably the Rhinkkanal here . He has built his own shelter, a small hut, on this canal. One day he meets two soldiers who - according to their uniforms - belong to the National People's Army . These seem to have got lost in Karlemann's empire. He shows the soldiers the right way.

At that time, however, he had no idea that a bridge was to be built over the canal exactly where his hut was. It is intended as a crossing option for NVA vehicles because a maneuver is planned in this area . When Karlemann notices this, he defends himself against the request and thus defends his accommodation. The soldiers have not forgotten his willingness to help and are ensuring that the bridge is built at a different location. Since then it has been referred to as Karlemanns Bridge .
