Karlheinz Harmful

Karlheinz Schädlich (born September 24, 1931 in Reichenbach / Vogtland , † December 16, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German historian .

Life

The brother of the writer Hans Joachim Schädlich and the physician Hannelore Dege lived in Berlin and published numerous works on his specialty, English history . Until 1991, Schädlich was a historian at the Academy of Sciences of the GDR .

From 1975 he worked for the Stasi as an IM "Shepherd" and collected information about his brother and Günter Grass , among other things . After Hans Joachim Schädlich learned of this fact through viewing his Stasi files in 1992, he wrote the story The matter with B.

Karlheinz Schädlich committed suicide on December 16, 2007.
