Karola Niederhuber

Karola Niederhuber (born June 7, 1976 in Linz ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Niederhuber studied at the Performing Arts Studios Vienna . She was permanently involved in the Berliner Kammerspiele , the Stadttheater Bern , the Staatstheater Mainz , the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm , the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen, the Melk Summer Festival , the Schauspielhaus Wien , the Theater in der Drachengasse , Salon 5, and the Stadttheater Klagenfurt . She has made guest appearances at the Theater an der Winkelwiese in Zurich, at the Grand théâtre de la ville de Luxembourg in Luxembourg and at the National Theater in Lisbon . She played many modern plays, the West Side Story and plays by Marlene Streeruwitz and Joshua Sobol , also Alice in Wonderland with the same director from Salzburg, Henry Mason .

In film and television, Niederhuber starred in the SOKO Donau series , in the film How to Live and in the country thriller Der Tote am Teich . Directors were David Schalko , Andreas Gruber and Nikolaus Leytner .

The Salzburg Young Directors Project 2012 showed Cornelia Rainer the Jakob Lenz , Lower Huber played the maid. In summer 2015 Niederhuber played in The Comedy of Errors by Shakespeare at the Salzburg Festival in Hallein Theater .

She has a daughter with the actor Reinhold G. Moritz .
