On June 18, 2007 in Mission Viejo ( California ) she beat Janet Evans' "ancient world record" in the 1500 m freestyle (15: 52.10) in 15: 42.54 minutes . She was able to celebrate two more world records, this time on the short course, on October 12, 2007 in Essen . Despite a very slow start, she improved Laure Manaudou's short course world records over 800 m and 1500 m to 08:09:68 and 15:42:39 minutes in a 1500-meter race in the 25-meter pool of Essen's main pool. Just two days later, she again undercut the 800 m record in 8: 08.00 in the same place, setting her third world record this weekend.
